1. Data controller
infoveeb.ee is owned and operated by Tarkvara Lahendused OÜ, registry code 17125929, Toompuiestee 21, Tallinn, Estonia.
Data protection and legal: info@tarkvaralahendused.ee. Everything else: info@infoveeb.ee.
2. What this service is
The data comes from public registers and open data published by the Estonian state.
Some of what is shown is personal data, for example the names of board members and shareholders.
3. Data about people in the registers
From the business register we show the name, year of birth, role and shareholding of people connected to a company. From Estonian Tax and Customs Board open data we show company tax debt. We do not display personal identification codes and we do not allow searching by them.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, the legitimate interest in making public register information findable and usable.
Person pages are not indexed by search engines. They carry a noindex robots tag and are not in our sitemap, so they cannot be found by searching a person's name on Google.
4. What we collect about you as a visitor
We collect visit statistics so we know which pages work and what people look for. The statistics are not linked to your identity and do not extend beyond this website.
For each page view we store the page path, the referring site's domain, campaign link parameters, the country, and whether the request came from a bot. We also store a session identifier.
- The session identifier is a hash of your IP address, your browser's identification string, and a salt.
- Neither the IP address nor the browser string is stored.
- Because the salt changes daily, the identifier is not the same on different days.
For searches we store the search term and the number of results. For profile views we store which company or person was viewed. Both are linked to the session identifier.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not collect statistics.
5. Advertising
We sell the ad space ourselves and the ads are served from our own server. There is no ad-network script on the page.
For an ad impression or click we store the ad identifier, the event type, the page type, the language and the company registry code. These records contain no IP address, session identifier or cookie.
Ads are visually distinct and labelled, and ad links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute.
6. Cookies and browser storage
infoveeb.ee does not use cookies, and so there is no cookie banner.
We store the following in the browser's localStorage:
- your language choice, under the key infoveeb.lang;
- a sign-in session token, created only when logging in as an administrator.
Neither is sent to a third party.
7. Contact form and correspondence
From the contact form we store your name, email address, topic and message. The same information is emailed to us, with your address as the reply-to.
To limit spam we additionally store your browser identification string and a hash calculated from your IP address. We use these only to prevent abuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f), the legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and protecting the service.
8. How long we keep data
We keep register data for as long as it is public at the source, or until we remove it following a justified request.
We keep visit statistics and contact form records for as long as they are needed for the security, debugging and development of the service. When they are no longer needed for those purposes, we delete them.
9. Processors
We use the following service providers. All of them process data on our instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.
- Cloudflare, traffic delivery and protection. Sees request IP addresses.
- Supabase, databases, hosting.
- Mailgun, email delivery.
10. Transfers outside the European Union
We keep data within the European Union where possible. Where a provider processes data outside the EU and EEA, it happens under GDPR-compliant safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
11. Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased or processing restricted, in the cases provided by law;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, aki.ee.
To make a request, write to info@tarkvaralahendused.ee. We normally reply within 30 days.
12. Removing data
If you believe information shown about you is wrong or should be removed, write to us. We weigh each request individually, balancing private and public interest.
If the data is still public at the source, we may not be able to remove it permanently, because the next data refresh brings it back. In that case the change has to be made at the source, and it reaches us automatically.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
